This ^^^ I fucking love Kubrick, but Lyne’s version totally kicked the other’s ass.
I was in a longstanding debate with my favorite film school professor about this. He eventually admitted that Lyne’s version was pretty much superior. Kubrick made it in the wrong era with the wrong main actor I think. Either way, i LOVE Lyne’s version AND Kubrick :)
